Please see below letter sent to Hacked Off which Mr Tom Watson MP plays a significant part in.
Dear Hacked Off
I write to you given the role that Mr Tom Watson MP plays in Hacked Off (I should add that I am a supporter of Hacked Off and support its actions).
Please see below my letter to Mr Watson re: his public statements where he and his 'team' have set out their intention, it appears (from his statement), to intervene in the Labour Party's internal and confidential procedures dealing with complaints. I have noted the irreconcilable differences between Mr Watson's support for Hacked Off and the clear breaches of DPA98 (as amended) and GDPR for those victims of unlawful press intrusion and Mr Watson and his 'teams' intention to do exactly that, or in the alternative something very similar in respect of not respecting the individual sensitive data protection rights of individual Labour Party members (and possibly others). At the time of writing Mr Watson has not responded to my letter.
Given the principles upon which Hacked Off was founded and exists, please take this letter and the attached evidence to be a formal complaint to the Executive of HO about the actions of Mr Watson.
I should be grateful for your advice and/or any comments on this.
