Opinion and petition: A vile post in the Mail Sunday has resulted in an angry response.
We posted our slant on the vile, hate speech by Labour Party donor Michael Foster whuch has been posted in a report in the Mail. It may have been tweaked by the editing team but the direct quotes are vile, bitter and hate-filled.
This is our reaction http://www.thejeremycorbyneffect.com/jeremy-corbyn-blog/michael-foster-launches-vile-attack-on-many-labour-party-members
And this anothers http://www.thejeremycorbyneffect.com/jeremy-corbyn-blog/michael-foster-launches-vile-attack-on-many-labour-party-members
The latter is a petition which is quickly gathering signatures and comments.
The petition says:
TO: LABOUR MEMBERS AND LABOUR NECAfter his article in the Daily Mail (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-3739516/Why-despise-Jeremy-Corbyn-Nazi-stormtroopers-Jewish-Labour-donor-MICHAEL-FOSTER.html) where Michael Foster refers to Jeremy Corbyn supporters and Momentum members as Nazi Stormtroopers, Michael Foster has insulted and defamed thousands of fellow Labour Party members.
And the petition creator Paul Bowden is correct.
Labour has been going through something of a McCarthy period lately.
But look at a few of the comments from those who have signed the petition:
So Tom Watson, Iain McNicol, Labour NEC members and party leader Jeremy Corbyn who is going to act and when?
The rest of us can act by following this link and signing the petition https://you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/expel-michael-foster-from-the-labour-party?source=facebook-share-button
