I am barely able to type this post because I am shaking so much. I have just now received an email from Iain McNicol telling me not only have I been denied a vote in the Labour leadership election but that I've been suspended from the party and prevented from holding office within Labour.
The pain in every word is genuine and heartfelt; the same is true of friends who have empathised and expressed support such as:
And Monday Philip Lewis, already suspended from the party, received details of his offending Tweets on Twitter but it appears the tweets were not his!
"Today I received the tweets reason why I'm suspended and no not my acc.mine @philewis and my cat @philewis_lenin."
Did he retweet? Should that even be relevant?
Piss up and brewery spring to mind and not for the first time.
Trouble is suspensions will not be reviewed until after the leadership election denying many people a vote and in some cases for nothing.
