Opinion: Labour List is an online publication allegedy supporting the Labour Party.
If you look at a cross section of its articles you may find it difficult to accept it supports the Labour Party.
Still the party is allegedly a "broad church" but sadly many of those on the right-wing of the Labour Party use that term but only mean it when it suits them.
Take a look at the following from Labour List Thursday.
Labour First, the centre-left group, has revealed plans to raise funds to recruit a paid organiser to resists the Corbynistas when a series of key grassroots votes kick off in January.
The language of the article is biased and divisive.
It is not posted as an opinion piece but is littered with opinion.
It gives a valuable online opening for Labour First which in my opinion has little to do with the Labour Party.
It is more about one man, Luke Akehurst, his masters and his vision for the Labour Party.
Akehurst has busied himself attempting to defeat and remove Jeremy Corbyn from his role as Labour Party leader. But Mr Akehurst, in spite of underhand tactics, failed to win a seat on the NEC in the latest round of elections.
But one thing about Mr Akehurst is his consistency.
He has simply said he and his gang will keep at it until Jeremy Corbyn is removed as party leader. They will push for a return to old new Labour, the politics of 1997 until around 2008.
Off all the people who have been suspended from the Labour Party surely Luke Akehurst, who remains a member of the party, is the most deserving of expulsion?
I do not personally know the man but I have been told by some who do he is vile and bitter. I also do not read Labour List these days but I am thankful some do and share. I am also thankful to those who brave high blood pressure by subscribing to Labour First to keep an eye on what Mr Akehurst and his band of anti-Corbyn, anti-party-democracy friends are up to.
The latest share comes by way of a Jeremy Corbyn supporter.
This is her reaction to Labour First's latest newsletter which we have shared in part below:
I've been fuming about this over night. Its so hurtful and divisive to all of us members, never mind about poor John McDonell. I think now is the time to send this Labour First e-mail in with a formal complaint to the party. Print it off take it to your CLPs, get the matter on the agenda and make them put through a formal complaint! Email from Labour First 30th November:
Mr Akehurst and Labour Party Deputy Leader Tom Watson paid a visit to Israel recently.
Days later Tom Watson was a guest speaker at Labour First's annual meeting Saturday November 26, 2016.
The two men appear linked in many ways. Does that mean both are trying to remove Corbyn?
We need to put in formal complaints and NOW. Many members have been suspended for much less.
Why is Mr Watson apparently working hand in glove with Luke Akehurst? If he is not it is way past time he put distance between himself and Labour First. The right-wing of Labour have pushed for Jeremy Corbyn to remove himself from some groups as Party leader, the same rules must apply to Mrs Watson as Deputy Party leader.
Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to formally complain.
Mr Akehurst being his usual anti Labour self on Twitter Thursday -hilarious arrogance too.
This is either a so-called tin foil hat post or the shape of things to come and soon.
For me the use of that tin foil hat description regarding what some think are conspiracy theories and paranoia is offensive. We should never forget the plight of those with mental health issues, these days all too often let down by society and the state. But that's another story
So on to the Labour Party conference fix which is either real, perceived or fantasy.
All the evidence over the last month or so has indicated it is real.
Shame the plotters cannot throw that much energy into their paid roles.
Looking at conference coverage Tuesday the fix by the right wing of the Labour Party, those who like to call themselves moderates or centrists but who critics prefer to call red Tories or Tory-lite, is ongoing.
It was hilarious to read a post in the Independent Tuesday posted as "an exclusive" as, if you use social media and read articles and blogs by ordinary people, you will have seen reports of plans to manipulate conference to suit reported over a period of time.
If Corbyn supporters acted in a similar fashion they would be castigated by all including the mainstream media but instead the only "news" is at the eleventh hour and via leaks from those involved.
Of course this is all designed to undermine Jeremy Corbyn's speech Wednesday.
With reports circulating that plotters will be trying to ensure the anti-Corbyn brigade fill the hall or ensure it is not full who knows what will follow.
Deputy Party leader Tom Watson received massive cheers Tuesday but was the love genuine? If you take a look at the image above from the Progress boss it certainly looks like the audience was fixed for Tom.
With reports circulating today that there will be claims the hall is full when it is not and people turned away in order to make it look like Corbyn has little support who knows what is really going.
But one thing is clear.
The Independent was saying nothing new except to readers who do not use social media.
The lack of earlier mainstream media reporting on various Labour Party fixes and ongoing plots and the timing of the "exclusive" highlights how manipulated and out of touch the mainstream media really is.
It also shows that devious plotters within the Labour Party have no intention of respecting Saturday's election result.
And it is not a good look.
The Independent may choose to say "Exclusive: Officials and MPs worked for months behind the scenes to ensure decision-making delegates sent to Liverpool were not from the party’s hard-left" but it omits relevant details including the unfair and unnecessary purge of Corbyn supporters from the party especially those who would have attended conference and supported Jeremy Corbyn.
Yes anyone would think these "geniuses" were Tories.
"Jeremy Corbyn has been outflanked by Labour centrists who worked for months behind the scenes to ensure they could win key conference battles, The Independent can reveal. A group of MPs and key officials oversaw a drive to make certain that decision-making delegates sent to Labour conference in Liverpool were centrist rather than from the party’s hard left. Their efforts proved a success today when the delegates passed a motion to hand seats on the party’s all-important ruling executive to figures likely to oppose an increase in Corbynite influence."
They are of course not "centrists" and people such as this writer is not "hard left" but when has the mainstream media let a few facts stand in its way?
Check back later for an update of what-will-be-will-be.
Veteran Labour politician Jeremy Corbyn is a nice guy. Even those who quit his shadow cabinet posting resignation letters on social media to thoroughly humiliate him commented that. Unlike most of us Jeremy does not do personal abuse even when attacked but you sometimes have to fight fire with fire.
As Mr Corbyn tries for appeasement and a Labour Party family welcome all approach dissenters on the right-wing of the Labour Party, some who like to call themselves "centrists" or "moderates" are already plotting:
message from Luke Akehurst of Labour First after Corbyn's victory Saturday:
How vile is that on the day that Jeremy is re-elected?
Mr Luke Akehurst is a thorn in the side of Mr Corbyn, party members and Labour voters.
The Labour Party has purged many members from the party for often ridiculous allegations of abuse but Akehurst is allowed a free rein to spread his hate; and make no mistake it is bitter hatred.
It is way past time for Akehurst to be purged like a vile stomach bug that lingers until you act.
His "Labour First" should really be named "me and my pals first."
The publication is inclined to demonise "Momentum" and its members but gloss over the party within a party "Progress."
Akehurst is tied in with Progress which is a regressive section of the party with links to the Tony Blair years.
As people report others with sometimes silly accusations of non-compliance with Labour Party values I urge you to do the same as far as Mr Akehurst goes.
Mr Corbyn may not do personal but he and his team must act on this one or allow a poison to spread through the party from the parasitic host Luke Akehurst.
All things Corbyn
