Opinion: When the Tories tell you they want to remove Jeremy Corbyn as Labour Party leader because they want an effective opposition treat it with the contempt it deserves.
The Tories will try to hang on to power by any means possible.
First there was the Lib Dem Conservative coalition government.
David Cameron may have announced Monday that he is stepping down as MP for Witney triggering a by-election but he and others still have questions to answer relating to expense fiddles during the 2015 General Election campaign. There may be little reporting but police investigations are ongoing.
So the Conservative Party possibly broke election spending rules to secure a narrow majority win in 2015.
Then there are the boundary changes being planned by the Tory Party which could give them an unfair electoral advantage.
This is what a new petition says:
Please stop the proposed Boundary Changes, as they stand as they give the Conservative party an unfair electoral advantage. Please keep the existing Boundaries to give all political parties the same chance they have had for the last number of years since the last change.
The petition is well worth supporting especially if you are not a Tory Party voter.
Locally we could see two exisitng MPs but only one job after boundary changes with the wealthy traditional Tory areas tagged onto poorer working and middle-class parts of the city.
Here are a couple of comments from people supporting the petition:
So if you agree please follow the link below to sign the petition and share
PLEASE NOTE: There is also a petition on the government website. That petition will trigger a debate in the House of Commons if it get enough votes. You can sign that one by following this link https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/123864
