Op-ed; Heard of Barry Gardiner Labour M.P.?
Well after Thursday you must surely have?
Mr Gardiner appeared on Channel 4 and Sky News channels and he did not take any prisoners.
He took both to task and he was the clear winner.
Check out the footage in this brief report.
Mr Gardiner is quite right to tell Adam Boulton that he is not doing his job fairly and taking the Conservative Party to task. Mr Boulton prefers to virtually wear a Tory rosette as the general election 2017 campaigning begins opting to attack other political parties, but in particular the Labour Party.
As for having to explain what Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn means by the establishment you have to wonder if Snow is having a laugh.
Maybe you can spot some with links to the establishment in the images below? I will give you a couple. Look for Nick Clegg Liberal Democrat, George Osborne Tory MP at time of writing and former Tory PM David Cameron.
Siobhan Curley says this about Barry Gardiner;
"He is clever and at the same time can make quite complicated things easy to understand. I just saw this on his website.
"Barry returned to Scotland as a student and lived in West Pilton with his childhood sweetheart bride, Caroline, on what was one of the roughest council estates in Europe (later immortalised in Irvine Welsh’s book “Trainspotting”). He intended to seek ordination as a priest, but Barry’s sense of vocation changed when Edinburgh Council sold off 718 houses, including his own, without the courtesy of letting residents know!"
“I saw the contempt with which ordinary people were treated by the council and it made me want to change things”
But politics had to wait. He graduated top in his year in Moral Philosophy and won a John F. Kennedy Scholarship to do research at Harvard. It was only when he returned from America to do his Doctoral studies at Cambridge, that Barry became active as a councillor where he Chaired the City’s Finance Committee and became the youngest mayor in the City’s 800 year history."
Does that him part of the establishment?
Give over are you having a laugh too?
